Operational Equipment
PTC Ltd operate a fleet of 14 MAN Trucks. These consist of EIGHT, 8 wheeler tipper TRUCKS, all are the latest MAN TGA 35.400 with Thompson steel bodies. These vehicles undertake the daily site clearance tasks as well as making construction material and topsoil deliveries. We also operate vehicles with “Grab” facility. As well as the above, our company operate 6 MAN TGA 26.430 Tractor Units coupled to STAS Aluminium tipping trailers, all are operated at 44 tonne GVW. By operating these particular trailers, we achieve a net carrying weight of 30 tonnes. See Photographs on Portfolio page.
Vehicles are no older than 3 years.
All vehicles are radio linked to our office on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. By using a particular system, which is band 3, we have permanent contact with the operators, and are able to alter the days work at short notice should the client need to vary an order.
As a back up to aid punctuality, we have in the traffic office, on screen real time location and monitoring display, the equipment is supplied by “WEBtrac”, a company that specialises in vehicle security and vehicle tracking solutions. The equipment supplied to PTC Ltd gives precise street mapping of all 14 trucks at any given time of the day or night. This particular monitoring system is updated every 2 minutes. Coverage is through out the UK and the Continent. We have the facility through this GPS system to “Track and Trace” every load that our vehicles move.
Both of the above systems supplied by "WEBTRAC” allow us at PTC Ltd, the ability to offer to our clients, “On Time Deliveries”.
Operational Back Up
PTC Ltd is able to offer to its existing client base and any future clients, a high quality Tipping service, this is in part due to the excellent Back Up provided by the Main Dealer of the MAN truck brand, this being MV Trucks who are based at New Hythe, Maidstone in Kent.

MV Trucks offer 24 Hour Roadside Assistance, full LGV Workshop facilities and parts service.
Maintenance and servicing of our trucks is undertaken by MV Trucks through the night. Convenient for us as the operator. No inconvenience for You the Client.
