By way of a spin off from the removal of large volumes of inert soils from various projects that we have undertaken, PTC Ltd has sought its own disposal sites, this in turn created land reclamation projects which are endorsed by the local authorities. PTC Ltd has a close and positive working relationship with the Environment Agency.
With 26 years of operational experience in site clearance, and with the extensive volumes of inert soils produced, PTC Ltd has undertaken many reclamation projects. There has been, the uplifting of land levels and the construction of a man made lake in Sussex, a similar project was the reclaiming of land prone to flooding in the Medway/Thames Estuary. This project produced land that after reinstatement was suitable for recreational purposes on the South East Coast of Kent.
A 3rd project was the construction of an earth Sound Bund adjacent to the M2 Motorway in Kent. This particular project was undertaken to enhance land and property that was previously blighted by traffic noise.
